Heather Collins My journey into the world of massage therapy was filled with many pathways. After graduating from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor’s Degree in History I knew deep down my heart kept pulling me in a different direction. I finally figured out that “yes” I, Heather Collins, need to follow my passion of healing others, this led me to my first path of enrolling with the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage (OSTM) to become a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).

Motivation, excitement and a touch of nervousness flooded my mind during my first weeks with OSTM. My confidence and hard work remained strong by my side as I learned about the human body, physical manipulations and a variety of massage and energy techniques. Throughout my education experience with OSTM I was reminded that “yes,” I am on the right path towards providing healing opportunities for many people.

Fast forward to the present date and you will find me smiling my way through countless treatment sessions. The last four years as a LMT have taught me how to blend my natural feel for energy techniques with my passion for deep tissue work to create a client centered massage. My intuitive touch along with knowledge in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Massage has provided me with healing skills that cater to various musculoskeletal discomforts while at the same time provide the relaxing benefits of massage therapy.

I believe that massage therapy provides the ideal environment for the mind and body to connect with the spirit. Regular massage therapy sessions offer the opportunity to reflect on life while taking steps towards better health filled with positive energy and love.

Along with my passion for massage, I also enjoy horseback riding, running 5K’s and spending time with my close and supportive family.
